Can I make modifications to the Chef's menu items?

Absolutely. You have the freedom to tweak the menu to your heart's content. Whether it's swapping proteins, adjusting the level of spice, or customizing the veggies, our chefs are flexible and eager to accommodate your preferences. The key is communication – the more details you provide in advance, the more tailored and satisfying your meal will be. 

What if I don't like a dish?

We're confident you'll be delighted with most dishes prepared by your chef. However, we understand that taste is a personal thing, and sometimes a dish might not tickle your tastebuds. This is perfectly normal - even in restaurants with 3 Michelin stars, you may not love every dish. As your chef gets to know you and your preferences, the closer he'll get to perfection on each and every dish.

For your first booking, choosing from the chef's menu ensures a smooth and delightful introduction. These dishes are the chef's specialties, tried and tested to guarantee satisfaction. Once you and your chef become more acquainted, feel free to explore and customize to your heart's desire.

Do I do the grocery shopping myself?

At the time, you are responsible for grocery shopping, which puts you in charge of selecting the quality and price of the ingredients. In the future, we're looking to provide options where your chef can handle some or all of the grocery shopping, adding even more convenience to your experience.

Can the Chef create the menu for me?

Of course! If you prefer not to choose every detail, just let your chef know. They're more than happy to put together a menu for you. Our chefs are skilled at crafting delightful meals that cater to a variety of tastes and preferences. 

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. Cancellations made at least 3 days in advance are free. Please note that cancellations made within 72 hours of the booking may incur a charge.

How will the chef leave the prepared food?

After your chef's first visit, they'll leave the cooked dishes for you to package. This lets you decide your preferred packaging method and check if you have the right storage containers at hand. From the second booking onwards, it's entirely up to you: your chef can either leave the dishes for you to package, or they can handle the packaging themselves, as long as the necessary containers are available. east 3 days in advance are free. How long should I book the Chef for?

We suggest starting with a 3-hour booking. This duration is typically sufficient for the chef to prepare multiple dishes and ensure your kitchen is sparkling clean afterwards.

Here's a tip to get the most bang for your buck: Include big-batch, freezer-friendly dishes in your menu. Think hearty lasagnas, comforting soups, and rich stews. These meals can be prepared in larger quantities and stored for future enjoyment, offering both convenience and cost-effectiveness.
